There once was a bridge that connected two towns together.
This bridge, strong and sturdy, was constructed by both towns together.
The two towns understood that this bridge would allow opportunity.
This bridge would allow trade.
This bridge would allow fellowship.
This bridge would allow communication.
This bridge would allow freedom.
Two towns, one community.
Over time, a rift began to build between the two towns.
The rift was made of bitterness, misunderstanding, and fear.
This rift caused the bridge to be neglected by both towns.
Neither town would maintain the bridge, as they felt the neglect was because of the other.
Time went on.
The rift continued to grow.
The bridge fell further and further into neglect.
Until the bridge was on the brink of catastrophe.
An argument took place on the bridge.
The cause of the argument, irrelevant.
One side of the argument, enraged, struck the other.
The other side fell and jolted the bridge.
The bridge then crumbled into a massive collapse.
The collapse ended trade.
The collapse ended Fellowship.
The collapse ended communication.
The collapse ended freedom.
Two towns, no community.
